THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.23721 of 2010 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent No.2 in not registering the complaint dated 09.08.2010 for the offence under Section 3(1)(viii) and (ix) and Section 3(2)(ii) read with 8(b) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Sections 120B and 211 r/w Section 34 I.P.C.

Learned Government Pleader on the basis of written instructions states that a case in Crime No.214 of 2010 was registered on 24.11.2010 on the file of Eluru I Town (L&O) Police Station against seven persons and a copy of the F.I.R. was furnished to the petitioner also on 24.11.2010. In the above circumstances, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition, and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
