THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL No.4679 of 2003 JUDGMENT:

None appears for the appellant or for the respondents. The record shows that the claimants filed C.M.A.No.4338 of 2004 seeking enhancement of the compensation and when the matter was referred to Lok Adalat, an Award was passed based on the compromise. The said representation was made on 26.06.2013. The appellant did not appear on 26.06.2013, 27.06.2013, 28.06.2013, 13.11.2013, 03.01.2014 and today also. Probably, in view of the settlement before the Lok

Adalat, the appellant does not want to pursue the appeal. In the circumstances, the appeal is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
