THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO W.P.No.15684 OF 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of land admeasuring Ac.15.94 cents in Survey No.1 of Katavaram Village, Sithanagaram Mandal, East Godavari District.

The said lands are abutting the Godavari River. The petitioner wanted to de-caste of sand from the said land in accordance with the policy framed by the Government under G.O.Ms.No.35, Industries and Commerce (Mines-II) Department, dated 14.03.2015 and Memo No.3066/M-II(1)/2016-3, dated 04.03.2016. The petitioner submitted an application on 25.04.2016 to the Assistant Director of Mines and Geology Department with a copy to the District Collector, East Godavari District and Joint Collector and others. This writ petition is filed within three days after submitting that application seeking a direction to consider the said application.

In these circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondents 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.04.2016 in accordance with law and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this revision petition shall stand closed.
