THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 12531 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioneraccused seeks to quash the proceedings in PRC No.21 of 2013 on the file of I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Kothagudem, Khammam District.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 12.06.2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Kothagudem I Town Police STation, Bhadradri Kothagudem District and submitted that the case was ended in compromise before the Lok Adalat on 11.02.2017 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in PRC No.21 of 2013, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
