THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION Nos. 4905 and 4911 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:

The petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering their applications for release of benefit under the projects exclusively for Scheduled Caste candidates. The subject matter of these writ petitions being similar, they are being disposed of by this Common Order.

2. The case of the petitioners, precisely, is that they belong to Scheduled Caste community and on coming to know that the 2nd respondent has issued a notification for funding projects exclusively for the Scheduled Caste Candidates for the financial year 2014-15, they submitted their online applications to the 2nd respondent for commencing the business of selling milk by purchasing two Graded Murrah Buffaloes. The 3rd respondent has released the list of shortlisted candidates, but the names of the petitioners were not listed. The petitioners allege that the names of candidates recommended by the political leaders and social activists were mentioned in the list, and the status of their applications also was not informed.

3. In the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the applications of the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed. ___________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 17th March, 2015 ksm
