THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3367 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.126 of 2016 on the file of the Hon'ble District and Sessions Judge, Chittoor, arising out of offences under Sections 420, 506, 120-B read with Section 34 IPC and Section 55 of the Andhra Pradesh Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishment Act, 1999. Heard and perused the records.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Court below while ordering release of the petitioner herein, imposing a condition of executing a personal bond of Rs.10,000/- with two local sureties and also directed that he shall report before the Station House Officer of East Police Station, Tirupati, twice in a week i.e., Tuesday and Thursday at any time between 11.00 a.m., and 1.00 p.m., for a period of two months or till filing of charge sheet, whichever is earlier. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition to the extent of the petitioner herein shall report before the SHO, East Police Station, Tirupati, twice in a week is hereby relaxed. However, the petitioner is directed to appear before the SHO concerned, as and when necessary. The Criminal Petition is accordingly disposed of.
