ORDER
The petitioner, who is A4 in Cr.No.98 of 2015 of Maddur Police Station, Warangal District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 302 IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, filed this petition under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking bail.
2. Heard both sides and perused the material on record.
3. The case of the prosecution is that all the accused harassed the deceased Bodike Sampoorna for additional dowry and when the de facto complainant expressed his inability to pay the same, they subjected her to cruelty and poured kerosene on the deceased and set fire to her.
4. Since the statement of the victim discloses the presence of the petitioner/A2 at the time of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to her.
5. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. ________________ RAJA ELANGO, J.
