HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.6467 OF 2017 ORDER:
Challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing demolition orders vide Proceedings in Rc.No.CRDA12021(41)/93/2016, dated 09.02.2017, this Writ Petition is filed. On hearing the matter, this Court granted interim direction and admitted the matter on 23.02.2017. Subsequently, counter affidavits have been filed by the 2nd and 4th respondents on 06.06.2017 and 15.06.2017 respectively, seeking to dismiss the Writ Petition. Though the matter was posted to 06.12.2018, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was posted to 10.12.2018 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today, when the matter is taken up in the morning there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner hence, it was passed over. When the matter is called again at 3.30 p.m., there is no representation. In those circumstances, it is presumed that the petitioner does not wish to prosecute further.
