THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.1660 of 2011 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 03.12.2010 passed by this Court in W.P.No.19453 of 2006. By the said order, this Court set aside the proceeding dated 18.07.2005 issued by the Chairman of the Siddipet Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society, Siddipet, Medak District, terminating the services of the petitioner as a Paid Secretary, and directed his reinstatement in service with all consequential benefits. The allegation was that despite being reinstated, the petitioner was not paid all his consequential benefits.

While so, proceedings dated 26.11.2014 of the President, Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society, Siddipet, Medak District, was produced, wherein it was recorded that the petitioner was remitted a sum of Rs.1.50 lakhs by way of bankers cheque dated 25.11.2014. The petitioner endorsed the said letter to the effect that he had received the payment of Rs.1,50,000/-. In that view of the matter, this Court sees no reason to keep this contempt case alive as it is for the petitioner to seek redressal of his grievance, if any, as regards the quantification of his consequential benefits by way of independent proceedings in accordance with law.

The contempt case is accordingly closed reserving such liberty to the petitioner. Application No.1067 of 2011 shall also stand closed. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR 12th October, 2015 IBL
