THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S. RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.9463 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

2. This Writ Petition is filed alleging that 2nd respondent is not receiving the document presented for registration by petitioner and insisting for production of No Objection Certificate from the Revenue Authorities.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that 4th respondent will receive the document produced by petitioner for the purpose of registration and if for some reason, he does not wish to register it, he shall pass a reasoned order under Section 70(1) of the Registration Act, within four weeks from the date of submission of the said document before him and communicate his decision to petitioner

4. In view of the said submission, the 4th respondent is directed to receive the document submitted by petitioner for registration, if the same is presented before him within

two (02) weeks from today, and if the 4th respondent does not wish to register the said document, he shall pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Act setting out the reasons why he does not want to register the said document and communicate it to the petitioner within four

(04) weeks from the date of submission of the said document by petitioner.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.

6. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
