THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 22493 of 2016 ORDER:

The 2nd respondent Commissioner of Endowments, vide notification dated 06.08.2015, called for applications from the interested persons to appoint them as the members of the Trust Board to be constituted to Sri Nageshwara Swamy Temple, Tangutur, Prakasam District, pursuant to which, the petitioners have submitted their applications, as per the procedure prescribed, in August, 2015 itself.

Again, they have submitted representations dated 25.05.2016 to the 2nd respondent seeking their appointment as the members of the Trust Board of the above-said temple, but, so far, no steps have been taken thereon. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been taken out. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Government Pleader for Endowments (Andhra Pradesh). Keeping in view the limited prayer made by the petitioners and the fact that issuance of notification has not been disputed, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representations said to have been submitted by the petitioners on 25.05.2016 and take an appropriate decision thereon. The entire task should be accomplished within 12 weeks from today. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
