HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO Criminal Petition No.217 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/accused seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2 of 2013 on the file of Ongole II Town PS, Prakasam District.

2) This Court while admitting the Criminal Petition granted stay of arrest of the petitioners till completion of investigation in Crl.P.M.P.No.194 of 2013 dated 18.01.2013.

3) When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 09.08.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Ongole II Town PS, Prakasam District and submitted that in this case investigation was completed and charge sheet was filed and case was registered as C.C.No.1177 of 2015 on the file of II Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Ongole and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

4) There is no representation for petitioners.

5) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
