THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO CONTEMPT CASE NO. 47 OF 2015 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed complaining that the respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer, Hyderabad East, Ranga Reddy District, has not passed the necessary orders inspite of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.30931 of 2014.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has rightly drawn my attention to the copy of the proceedings in Case No.B1/8121/2013 dated 04.04.2015, passed by the Spl. Grade Deputy Collector and Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranga Reddy East Division, holding that the assignees sold the land in question contravening the essential condition of non-alienation and as such the Deputy Collector & Tahsildar rightly resumed the land under Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (POT) Act, 1977.

In that view of the matter, this contempt case is dismissed. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
