Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Sub-Registrar, Renigunta, Chittoor District, in refusing to entertain the document presented by the petitioner with reference to the plot No.5, admeasuring 334.22 Square yards in Sy.No.109/2 situated at Upparapalli Village, Mangalam Group, Tirupati Urban Mandal, Chittoor District, and treating the said land as prohibited property as per the letter in Rc.No.M1/9580/2016, dated 05.07.2016 of Commissioner of Endowments, Government of Andhra Pradesh, as illegal and arbitrary."

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks direction to the Sub-Registrar-4th respondent to pass orders on the document submitted by the petitioner and to register the same, by taking into consideration the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.11994 of 2012 and the report submitted by the Joint Commissioner of Endowments.

Learned Government Pleader submits that direction may be given to the Sub-Registrar to pass orders in accordance with law, if anything survives.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to pass orders, within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on the document presented by the petitioner for registration, in accordance with law. It is needless to mention that if the Sub-Registrar, intends not to register the document, he shall pass detailed order giving reasons, as to why, he is refusing to register the document. It is also needless to mention that while passing orders, the Sub-Registrar, shall take into consideration the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.11994 of 2012 and the report of the Joint Commissioner of Endowments. 7.
