Aggrieved by the inaction of official respondents 1 to 7 in considering the representations of the petitioner dated 31.05.2018 and 03.08.2018, for restraining the respondent No.8 from conducting religious preaching during the period from 7.08.2018 to 15.08.2018, the present writ petition is filed.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri K.Lakshman, learned Assistant Solicitor General, representing the Union of India and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. The period during which the religious preaching was sought to be restrained, already elapsed, and in view of the same, cause in the writ petition does not survive.
Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
