HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:
Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the Government in G.O.Ms.No.354 Agriculture & Cooperation (Vigilance) Department, dated 19.06.2017 imposing punishment of withholding of two annual grade increments with cumulative effect. Aggrieved by the said order, petitioner preferred revision before the Government on 08.08.2017. Alleging inaction on the said revision, this writ petition is filed. 2.
According to learned counsel for petitioner, petitioner also raised plea on the maintainability of punishment imposed on the ground that punishment is imposed at the instance of Vigilance Commission, whereas the same is not permissible in law. 3.
However, as fairly submitted by learned counsel for petitioner, this very issue was raised in the revision preferred by petitioner. Thus, this Court is not inclined to go into the contentions urged on various aspects including the aspect noted above as the revision is pending. Writ petition is disposed of directing the Government to consider the revision preferred by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law dealing with all the contentions urged and by assigning due reasons in support of its decision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
