HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.34818 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is preferred by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of respondents 2 and 3 in passing orders pursuant to its applications dated 19.09.2016, 26.09.2016 and 07.10.2016 filed for granting permission to perform prayers in petitioner Church, as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (AP). With their consent the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. The only grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is filed to consider its applications filed seeking to grant permission to perform prayers in the petitioner Church. Learned Government Pleader submits that if the representations of the petitioner are still pending consideration, they shall be disposed of at the earliest in accordance with law. In view of the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector to consider the representation dated 07.10.2016 submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same, if the same is still pending consideration, in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and also the aggrieved persons, if any, as early as possible

preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
