This criminal petition is filed to reduce the surety amount imposed by the Metropolitan Sessions Judge-cum-I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, in Crl.M.P.No.3280 of 2016, by order, dated 28.10.2016, whereby the petitioner/accused was directed to be released on bail on execution of personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties, who shall furnish fixed deposit of Rs.1,00,000/- each drawn in the name of the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Narsipatnam and submit the same to the satisfaction of the Investigation Officer. 2.

The main contention of the petitioner before this Court is that he is an agricultural coolie and not in a position to furnish the fixed deposit. 3.

Therefore, taking into consideration the financial capacity of the petitioner, fixed deposit for an amount Rs.1,00,000/- is reduced to Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only).
