HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.3853 OF 2017 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that he filed an appeal on 07.01.2017 along with stay petition before the 1st respondent against the order dated 27.12.2016 in proceedings No.B/1924/2010 passed by the 2nd respondent directing resumption of the lands in possession of the petitioner and the same is pending. As no orders are passed either in the appeal or stay petition, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion on merits, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notices to the petitioner as well as the affected parties if any. Status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained, pending disposal of the appeal in respect of the subject lands. There shall be no order as to costs.
