After arguing the writ petition for some time, learned counsel for petitioners seeks liberty to file appeal before the 2nd respondent against refusal to update the names of petitioners in the revenue records in respect of the subject matter of writ petition.

(a) The petitioners are given liberty to file appeal within two weeks from today by enclosing a copy of this order.

(b) The petitioners if file appeal as permitted by this Court, the 2nd respondent calls for the record and disposes of the appeal within four weeks thereafter.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
