HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.11020 of 2017 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed challenging the registration of FIR No.423 of 2017 against the petitioner by the 2nd respondent on the complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent, for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. I have carefully perused the complaint lodged by the 3rd respondent. In view of the complaint of the 3rd respondent, the registration of FIR cannot be held as bad. However, the 2nd respondent has to investigate the crime only in accordance with law, duly complying with the procedure as contemplated under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C.

3. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
