THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C.BHANU AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No. 2082 OF 2013 ORDER:

(per the Hon'ble Sri Justice K.C.Bhanu) Heard the learned counsel for the respondents. The present Contempt Case is filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 19.07.2013 of this Court passed in Writ Petition No.32081 of 2010, whereby this Court gave a direction to the respondents-Corporation to allow the petitioner for encashment of earned leave up to maximum of 300 days instead of 240 days. Enhancement of number of earned leaves from 240 days to 300 days for the purpose of encashment has been amended which came into force from 24.04.2010. The amendment has no retrospective operation. Admittedly, the petitioner retired from service on 31.03.2008.

That is the reason why this Court reviewed the order in Writ Petition No.32081 of 2010 on 05.12.2014. Therefore, the Contempt Case is devoid of merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.

No costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in the Contempt Case shall stand closed.
