THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.16951 OF 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to have joined as Grade II Hindi Pandit on 30-08-1982 and posted at Sekuru village of Chabrolu Mandal. Later on, she was transferred to Nadivelugu village. Thereafter, she was promoted as Grade I Hindi Pandit on 01-06-1995 and posted to Pedapalem village. Thereafter, she was posted to Donepudi on 30-052003. On 28-02-2009, she retired from service. It is stated that she acquired qualification of 'Sahitya Ratna' in Hindi in the year 1985. The case of the petitioner is that the Government of A.P. issued G.O.Ms.No.96, dated 31-01-1981 recognizing the said 'Sahitya Ratna' of Prayaga in Hindi as equivalent to M.A. Hindi. The Government of A.P. also issued G.O.Ms.No.

135, dated 08-04-1993 sanctioning advance increments to the teachers those who acquired additional qualifications between 01-12-1982 to 30-06-1986 with monetary benefit from 01-07-1986. The petitioner states that similarly situated persons have received the increments, but she was not paid the same. When her representation was not considered, she filed O.A.No.8193 of 2008 and the same was disposed of directing the respondent to consider the case. When no steps were taken, she submitted another representation on 01-07-2015. When the same was also not considered, the present writ petition is filed.

2. It is not known as to why the petitioner kept quiet since 1993 when the Government of A.P. issued G.O.Ms.No.135,dated 08-04-1993 declaring 'Sahitya Ratna' as equivalent to M.A. Hindi and sanctioning advance increments.

Be that as it may, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01-072015 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
