HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3659 OF 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A1 and A3 to A5 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.297 of 2011 on the file of First Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kothapeta, registered for the offence under Sections 307, 427, 447, 506(2) r/w 34 IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 29.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Kothapet Police Station, East Godavari District and submitted that the case has been compromised before Lok Adalat on 15.06.2013 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.297 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
