HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 43843 of 2016 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition being heard at the admission stage itself. There is no necessity to put the unofficial respondents on notice as this Court is not venturing to adjudicate the issue on merits.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not adjudicating the revision petition No.F3/ 3429/ 2015 filed on 28.08.2015 by the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the second respondent to dispose of the said revision.

3) The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that though the revision was filed in the month of August, 2015 till date no orders passed in the revision.

4) The Government Pleader for Revenue submits that a direction may be issued for an early disposal of the revision. 5) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the arguments advanced, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to dispose of

R.P.No.F3/ 3429/ 2015, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four

(04) to six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs. 6) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
