THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1496_OF 2016 ORDER:

The present Criminal Revision Case is filed by the petitioner/accused under Section 397 read with 401 Cr.P.C., questioning the Order dated 31.05.2016 passed in Crl.M.P.No.563 of 2016 in Sessions Case No.494 of 2014 (Crime No.76 of 2014 of Bhavani Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad), by the IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Hyderabad, wherein the learned Judge rejected the request of the petitioner for release of the passport.

2. Though various grounds are raised in the revision, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the Sessions Case No.494 of 2014 within a period of one month since the petitioner has to go to Oman to take care of his mother, who is staying there.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, the learned IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Hyderabad, is directed to dispose of the Sessions Case No.494 of 2014 as early as possible preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. It is needless to mention that the prosecution as well as the accused shall cooperate with the Court for an early disposal of the case.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this revision shall stand closed.
