Both Sri N. Sreedhar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri C.H. Satish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Endowments, submit that, as the petitioner has subsequently been promoted as an Executive Officer, the cause in the writ petition does not survive, and the writ petition has become infructuous.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
