This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C by the petitioner/ accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.146 of 2016 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Kothapeta, where learned Magistrate taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 328 and 380 IPC.

The petitioner herein is accused and respondent No.2 is the de facto complainant. The de facto complainant and accused, representing through advocates are present and they want to compound the above offences.

Having heard the parties, permission is accorded as the parties stated that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and permit to compound the above offences. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the accused. 4.

Accordingly, Crl.P.MP.No.11233 of 2017 and the Criminal Petition are allowed and all the proceedings relating to S.C.No.146 of 2016 on the file of the Assistant Sessions Judge, Kothapeta, are quashed. The bail bonds of the accused, if any, shall stand cancelled. 5.
