This writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings Rc.No.A2/621/HR/2015, dated 30.08.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent terminating the petitioner from service. It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Field Assistant under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Development Scheme vide appointment order dated 15.03.2013. However, on certain allegations, petitioner was terminated by orders dated 30.08.2017 passed by the Project Director, DWMA. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner filed appeal on 18.09.2017 along with stay petition before the District Collector, West Godavari District. As no orders are passed, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for 2nd respondent.

Since the statutory appeal is stated to be pending before the District Collector/competent authority, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the stay petition/appeal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Meanwhile, the authorities

may not create any third party interests in the place of petitioner.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
