THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.29637 OF 2017 ORDER:

Petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of agricultural land to an extent of Acs.2.761⁄2 cents in Survey No.20 of Nidamaluru Revenue Village, Tangutur Mandal, Prakasam District, having purchased the same through a registered sale deed dated 20.03.1992. He claims that he submitted application dated 14.04.2017 seeking mutation of his name in the revenue records in accordance with the procedure envisaged, but so far no decision is taken by the Tahsildar, Tangutur Mandal. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Ex.P1 is the receipt issued by Mee-Seva acknowledging submission of application in Form VI-A by the petitioner. Copy of Form VI-A is also enclosed as Ex.P2.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Tangutur Mandal, Prakasam District, to examine the claim of the petitioner as ventilated in his application dated 14.04.2017 for mutation of his name in the revenue records and take appropriate decision in accordance with law and communicate the said decision to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
