Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in dispossessing the petitioner from the land admeasuring Ac.1.50 cents in Survey No.81 situated in Chendurthi Village, Gollprolu Mandal, East Godavari District, without considering the earlier sale deeds, as illegal and arbitrary'.

A perusal of the record would show that on 05.11.2016, the Revenue Divisional Officer-respondent No.4 issued notice to the petitioner to explain within 15 days therefrom as to why the pattadar pass books and title deeds issued in favour of the petitioner should not be cancelled. The petitioner submits that pursuant to the said notice, he submitted his explanation on 08.11.2016. But, without passing any orders on the said

explanation, the authorities are trying to dispossess the petitioner from the land in dispute.

Learned Government Pleader submits that any action to be taken by the authorities will only be in accordance with law. 6.

Having regard to the above submission, if the petitioner is in possession of the land in dispute, the respondent-authorities shall not take any steps of dispossession, till orders are passed on the explanation submitted by the petitioner pursuant to the notice issued on 05.11.2016, if not already passed.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 8.
