The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent - police authorities are not registering the crime based on his complaint dated 18.05.2018 and conducting investigation.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Matter was adjourned thrice. Learned Assistant Government Pleader sought further time.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to register the complaint stated to have been made by the petitioner on 18.05.2018 and by following the guidelines laid down by Supreme Court in LALITA KUMARI v. GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH1, take appropriate action in accordance with law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
