Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. With consent of the counsel appearing for both sides, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage. 2.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents Nos.3 and 4 in threatening and trying to dispossess the petitioner from the lands an extent of Ac.0.65 cents in Sy.No.289 A3 and Ac.1.02 cents in Sy.No.289 B2 situated at Pedda Harivanam Village, Adoni Mandal, Kurnool District, without notice or enquiry, and without any reason, and in violation of principles of natural justice, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of the A.P. Land Reforms (Ceiling on agriculture holdings) Act, 1973 and the Rules made thereunder, and consequently direct respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to dispossess the petitioner from his lands to an extent of Ac.0.65 cents in Sy.No.289 A3 and Ac.1.02 cents in Sy.No.289 B2 situated at Pedda Harivanam Village, Adoni Mandal, Kurnool District."

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondents to follow due process of law before taking steps for dispossession.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue states that any action taken by the authorities will be only in accordance with law. 5.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondents 3 and 4 not to dispossess the petitioner from the lands to an extent of Ac.0.65 cents in Sy.No.289 A3 and Ac.1.02 cents in Sy.No.289 B2 situated at Pedda Harivanam Village, Adoni Mandal, Kurnool District, without following due process of law. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _______________________ JUSTI CE C.
