THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITON No. 21972 OF 2007 ORDER:

The relief claimed in the writ petition is seeking alteration of the date of birth.

As on the date of petitioner filing this writ petition, he is aged 54 years. The age of retirement is 58 years. This Court by order dated 12.10.2007 in WP MP No.28474 of 2007 directed the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation purported to have been filed by the petitioner on 21.09.2007 for correction of his date of birth as 22.12.1953 instead of 22.12.1950, as per the certification of the Osmania University. Inasmuch as the age of retirement has also been passed, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition, particularly, in the light of the interim order which has been granted by this court.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. In the event, petitioner has any grievance with respect to retirement benefits he is at liberty to proceed further in accordance with law.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
