O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners in this case was that the police authorities and, more particularly, the Station House Officer, Intazar Gunz Police Station, Warangal, was interfering in disputes of a civil nature relating to the property located at H.No.8-8-205, Girmajipet, Warangal.

At the time of admission of this writ petition, this Court directed the Station House Officer, Intazar Gunz Police Station, Warangal, not to interfere in any civil disputes relating to the subject house property.

Despite a lapse of over two years, the respondents have not chosen to file a counter-affidavit.

As it is a settled position of law that the police authorities have no role to play in adjudication of civil disputes and as it is stated that the civil dispute in relation to the subject house property is pending adjudication before the competent civil court, the second respondent is directed not to interfere with such civil dispute. The writ petition is accordingly allowed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
