THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SRI KALYAN JYOTI SENGUPTA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11885 of 2013 ORDER: (per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) The writ petition was filed challenging the order dated 31st July, 2012 passed by the learned Upa-Lokayuktha of Andhra Pradesh.

This is a matter of 2013 and no interim order has been granted.

We have seen the impugned order of the UpaLokayuktha. The Upa-Lokayuktha has not given any mandate and only an investigation had been done and thereafter, a recommendation was made. We clarify that the order of the UpaLokayuktha will not be treated as a mandate as it is a mere recommendation and if the same is still not carried out, the respondent authority will look into it.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
