Petitioner And The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, Rep., by its Managing Director, Musheerabad, Hyderabad & others.

.. Respondents This court made the following :

- 2 - THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.28091 OF 2018 ORDER :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for TSRTC for the respondents. 2.

In this writ petition, petitioner is aggrieved by recording of his entry of date of birth in service records. According to the petitioner his date of birth is 15.06.1982, whereas, the pay slips issued to him reflect his date of birth as 20.08.1974 and the same is erroneous.

3.

The material on record would disclose that no endeavour was made by the petitioner to ascertain the correct facts from the employer nor made request for correction of his date of birth and straight away instituted this writ petition.

4.

Except for asserting that his date of birth as per school records should reflect 15.06.1982 as the correct date of birth, the same factor is not placed before the employer requesting him to undertake the job of correction. Thus, no relief at this stage can be granted to the petitioner.

5.

Thus, granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation requesting the competent authority to verify the service records and to inform him the entry of date of birth as originally recorded, when he entered into service and the material based on which such entry was made. As and when such representation is made, the competent authority shall consider the same and give suitable reply to the petitioner.

- 3 - 6.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ P.NAVEEN RAO,J 10th August, 2018 Rds
