THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA CRIMINAL PETITION No.9424 of 2022 ORDER :

Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor who is representing Respondent No.1. 2.

Seeking the Court to quash the proceedings that are pending against the petitioners who are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.261 of 2022 of II Town Police Station, Karimnagar, the present criminal petition is filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and they have not committed any offence whatsoever. Learned counsel submits that with ulterior motive, a false complaint was given against the petitioners and therefore, the FIR is liable to be quashed. 4.

Per contra, the submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor is that respondent No.2 was confined in a room, she was forced to handover the cheque books, to

A perusal of the contents of the complaint reveals narration of grave incidents and allegations against the petitioners herein. As per the contents of the complaint, respondent No.2 was confined in a room, she was threatened and she was also throttled. The contents of the complaint also reveals withdrawal of amount of huge sum. Date Wise narration of withdrawal is given. Thus, the case requires thorough investigation.

This Court does not find any grounds whatsoever to quash the proceedings.

Resultantly, the criminal petition is dismissed. 8.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
