This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in dispossessing the petitioners from their respective lands.

The petitioners did not give any particulars with regard to the extent of lands owned by them, but they state that they are in possession of the total an extent of Ac.28.00 guntas of land situated in Survey No.132/1 of Vattinagulapally village. They belong to Scheduled Caste community except four petitioners, who belong to Backward Caste community and one petitioner belongs to Muslim community. They state that they have been in possession of the aforesaid land for the last sixty (60) years. 3.
Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on the basis of written instructions, submits that during the normal course of inspection, it is noticed that the possessors in Government lands in Survey No.132 are trying to change the nature of land from agriculture to non-agriculture purpose. It is also stated that the Tahsildar never tried to dispossess the petitioners from the Government Lands, but restrained them not to change the nature of land. The CCLA, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, also submitted proposals to the Principal Secretary to Government way back on 14.10.2009 for issuance of assignment pattas to the writ petitioners and the same is pending with the Government.

In view of the said statement made by the learned Government Pleader on the basis of written instructions, no further orders are
necessary in the present Writ Petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
