This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in threatening the petitioner to settle the civil disputes with respondent No.5 and interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on instructions submits that they have received a complaint from Respondent No.5 on 23.07.2018 and thereafter, GD entry was also made and after enquiring into the matter, the same was found as civil in nature and the same was informed to respondent No.5 and the allegations that the respondent police have threatened the petitioner not to allow the agricultural operations are denied and when respondent No.5 made a complaint, the same was forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, which was endorsed by CI of Police and after enquiry they advised the parties to approach competent Civil Court for redressal of their grievance because the dispute pending between the parties is civil in nature. The respondents never involved in any civil disputes much less the dispute of the petitioner and respondent.

Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos. 3 and 4 not to threaten the petitioner to settle the civil dispute with respondent No.5 and not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner except in accordance with law.

The miscellaneous petition, if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
