THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.27017 of 2016 O R D E R:

Petitioner's grievance is that a sum of Rs.1,10,000/- seized from the petitioner's custody in Crime No.18 of 2016 by the 3rd respondent has not been deposited before the concerned Magistrate. Petitioner therefore sought a direction, that such deposit be made, since non-deposit of the seized amount is violative of Section 102 Cr.P.C.

2. The Government Pleader for Home appearing for 3rd respondent states that the above sum has been deposited before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Athmakur of Mahaboonagar District on 19.08.2016 vide CPR No.295/2016, although there was some delay in depositing the said cash.

3. Therefore, granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the said Court for release of the above seized amount, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
