THE HONOURABLE SMT. JUSTICE K. SUJANA CRIMINAL PETITION No.13521 of 2025 This Criminal Petition is filed seeking the Court to reduce the surety amount to Rs.2,000/- to each accused with one surety in the order dated 30.04.2025 passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, at Wanaparthy in Crl.R.P.No.4 of 2025.

Heard Sri A. Raghu Ram Reddy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners as well as Sri Arun Kumar Doddla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for petitioners submitted that the petitioners are agriculture family back ground and their crop was not yet yielded and they are unable to arrange the huge surety amount which was imposed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, at Wanaparthy and prayed the Court to reduce the surety to Rs.2,000/- with one surety.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, as the petitioners are unable to arrange the huge amount, this Court is inclined to reduce the surety amount to Rs.2,000/- with one surety.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is allowed.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall also stand closed.
