THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12755 of 2016 ORDER:

Petitioner's grievance is that she had submitted representations dt.22.02.2016 and 21.03.2016 for mutation of her name in the revenue records with regard to the subject land to the respondents 2 to 4 and that no action has been taken by them in this regard.

The Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that the competent authority to consider the issue is the 3rd respondent under Sub-clause (5) of Clause (5) of A.P. Rights in lands and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and that the 3rd respondent will consider the petitioner's representations and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dt.22.02.2016 and 21.03.2016 for mutation of her name in the revenue records in respect of the subject land, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
