Aggrieved by the proceedings dated 19.08.2016 passed by the 4th respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer in deleting the names of the petitioners in the pattadar pass books and title deeds over the subject land, the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Section 9 of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 provides for revisional jurisdiction against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer in deleting the entries made in revenue records and the petitioner is at liberty to avail the same. In view of the said alternative remedy, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition and the same is liable to be dismissed and accordingly dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed. AVS ------------------------------------- 08-09-2016
