HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION No.12212 OF 2007 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of the respondents in not allowing the petitioner to attend the interview for the post of sub-staff, and in filling up the posts only through Employment Exchange, as illegal and arbitrary. This Court, by order in WPMP No.15213 of 2007 dated 14.06.2007, granted interim directions to the respondents to interview the petitioner for the post of Sub-Staff (Class IV). As the only relief which the petitioner is entitled to, is to be considered for appointment to the post of Sub-Staff after appearing for the interview, and as he was permitted to participate in the interview pursuant to the interim order, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. No costs.
