Heard.

Aggrieved by the inaction in considering the petitioner's application dated 12.02.1996, seeking grant of quarry lease over an extent of 20.00 hectares in Survey No.348 of Dhakamarri Village, Bhimunipatnam Mandal, Visakhapatnam District. Earlier, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing W.P.No.37577 of 2014 and the same was disposed of on 22.12.2014 directing the respondents therein to consider the petitioner's application on the basis of the report received by them and pass appropriate orders.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that by mistake, the State of Andhra Pradesh represented by its Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology, was impleaded as respondent No.1 in that Writ Petition. However, the concerned authority to consider the request of the petitioner is the Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce (M.III) Department. In view of the same, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition impleading respondent No.1 as aforesaid. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the application of the petitioner has been processed by all the authorities and is now pending before respondent No.1. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1 to consider the petitioner's aforesaid application on the basis of the report received by him and take appropriate decision in the matter expeditiously, preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
