This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused under Sections 437 & 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail to him in Crime No.71 of 2015 on the file of Gudur Railway Police Station, Nellore District. registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 IPC.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that on 13.7.2015 when the victim girl got down at Gudur Railway Station on her way to Tirupathi to join Brahmakumari Samajam, the petitioner enquired about her particulars and promised her to leave at Brahmakumari Samajam and committed rape upon her.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. _____________________ JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Dated: 26.10.2015 Nn
