HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6789 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/ A.1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.515 of 2012 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate, Malkajgiri, which was registered against them for the offences under Sections 420, 406, 498-A, 323, 506 IPC and Sections 4 of D.P. Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 05.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Kushaiguda P.S., Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 2.11.2017 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.515 of 2012 on the file of X Metropolitan Magistrate, Malkajgiri, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) Learned counsel for petitioner present.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
