HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.28143 of 2018 ORDER:

Aggrieved by inaction of respondents 2 to 5 on the complaint dated 31-05-2018 lodged by the petitioner against respondents 6 and 7 and others, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that though the petitioner sent complaint through registered post, he did not approach the 5th respondent along with relevant documents for the purpose of taking action. On that, the 5th respondent deputed staff to the house of the petitioner two or three occasions, but he was not available. It is stated that whenever the petitioner approached them along with necessary documents, necessary action would be taken by the respondent-police.

In view of the same, the respondent-police are directed to take action on the complaint dated 31-05-2018 lodged by the petitioner in accordance with the guidelines laid down by Apex Court in the judgment of Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
