Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies for respondents.

2. This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not releasing the seized stock of 118.50 quintals of rice, as per the orders of the Court of District & Sessions Judge, Krishna at Machilipatnam in E.C.Appeal No.100 of 2012 dated 14.06.2013. 3.

The learned Government Pleader, on the basis of written instructions dated 05.09.2015, submits that the petitioner remitted an amount of Rs.18,960/- i.e., 10% of value of the seized stock and the seized stock will be released to the petitioner.

4. In the circumstances, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
